Activities of The Cell :

  • Counselling  Family disputes, matrimonial disputes are resolved through counselling.
  • Helping the clients to adopt a realistic approach to change their lifestyle.
  • To motivate and facilitate decision-making.
  • To promote self-understanding of the client.
  • Investigation of the complaints received through Government Officials, i.e., Police, D.M. etc.
  • Providing legal and other advice by the counsellors/panel lawyers/ committee members.
  • Counsellors also give their advice to the distressed women for solving their problems.
  • Applications are sent to the District Family Counselling Centres for investigation / counselling / necessary assistance to the victims.
  • To assist various government departments, to name proper steps for redrenal of disputes relating to women.
  • Scrutinize the petitions and classify into proper category, take necessary actions.
  • For serious crimes the Commission makes suo-motu enquiries, examines, collects evidences and submit the report with recommendations to the Government.
